PorterKinney is a premier accounting firm located in the Tri-Cities, WA which specializes in strategic tax preparation for individuals and businesses.
The firm dates back to 2006, when Chris Porter began operating a home-based tax firm and prepared his first tax returns on his kitchen counter. In June 2014, Walter Kinney left a large local firm to partner with Chris, and the company was named PorterKinney, PC.
Our tax and accounting experience covers a wide range of market segments, from farmers’ fields to physicians’ offices. On November 15, 2019, PorterKinney purchased the Kennewick CPA Firm Marple & Marple, which was founded in 1973 by Robert E. Marple, Sr. All eight full-time employees of Marple & Marple were rehired by PorterKinney, bringing with them a wealth of experience in tax and accounting.
"As small business owners with more than 60 employees, running a business can be stressful. The accountants at PorterKinney have worked hard to save us money on our tax returns, recommend tax strategies, and be available to ensure our vision for our business is clearly in focus to meet our personal and professional goals. We have recommended our CPA of choice PorterKinney to several of our friends and other business owners."
We understand that everyone is concerned about Coronavirus. And we are as well, which is why we are taking precautions to keep our clients and our staff safe. While the threat of Coronavirus exists, we are asking both clients and staff who feel unwell or have sick loved ones to refrain from visiting PorterKinney onsite. Read more…
